Your device. Your data.
TestZio runs device tests in your browser. Device test inputs stay on your device and are not sent to a measurement backend. The site uses third-party services for advertising, basic traffic measurement, security, and performance.
Microphone and camera
Access is requested only when you start a test. Audio, recordings, and video are processed locally and are never uploaded by TestZio. Active capture stops when you stop the test, hide the tab, or leave the page. Recordings are temporary until you download them using browser controls.
Saved results
Results are saved in localStorage only when you choose Save. Report data includes test readings, observations, dates, and test versions, not raw keystrokes or audiovisual files. You can export or delete results from the full device check page.
Advertising and analytics
TestZio uses Google Analytics to measure visits and understand how pages are used. It also uses Google AdSense for site verification and, after approval, to display and measure advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies and receive information such as your IP address, approximate location, browser, device, referring page, page activity, and interactions with ads. Cloudflare may process ordinary request, security, and performance data when delivering the site. These services do not receive your raw keyboard input, microphone recordings, camera video, or device-test observations from TestZio.

Network requests
The browser downloads the website’s pages and assets from the host. The host may maintain ordinary access logs. Device test inputs are not sent to a measurement server.
A clear limit
Browser-based checks help you investigate device behavior. They cannot certify hardware health or replace a physical inspection. Each result identifies whether it was observed, measured from input events, estimated, or reported by the browser.
