What do you see?
Your observation is the result.
Check the same spot on several colors, and rule out dust. Screenshots cannot capture physical pixel defects; use a separate camera if you need evidence.
How to use this test
- Dim the room, set a black pattern, and use normal viewing distance.
- Inspect each corner and edge without changing the viewing angle.
- Move your head slightly to distinguish IPS glow from fixed bleed.
Is every bright corner a defect?
No. IPS glow changes with viewing angle. Fixed light leaking from an edge is more useful evidence, but brightness, exposure, and room light affect what you see.
